On November 21st, 2006 once more THIMM gained the annual World Star Award for two packing solutions. The contest which is called "WORLDSTAR FOR PACKAGING 2006" was organized by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) was held in Poznan/ Poland. 266 packing solutions from 35 countries went into competition.

The two successful packings "Alpha Tray" and "Quick Fill" gained at the national czech packing contest "Obal roku 2006" earlier this year where they have been honoured as packing of the year 2006.
