In August, an international systems producer in the area of “heating/cooling, installation systems and supply engineering” commissioned THIMM to perform a potentials analysis of all five German plants belonging to the business group. Within three months, and in close cooperation with the company, the site analyses were completed. In line with THIMM Consulting’s comprehensive approach, all packaging relevant areas were analyzed, and interviews were conducted with the respective employees in charge. The results were presented in October. “We were able to really impress our customer with our great attention to detail in our recommendations for action and the estimates of the savings potentials,” explains Michael Bodemer, the project manager. Overall, a median six-figure amount in savings was projected. The conception and implementation of the recommendations for action is planned for 2009.
