The Mondaplen flexible packaging material is enabling THIMM SCHERTLER Packaging Systems to expand its portfolio of high quality foam materials and as a result it is developing new usage areas in the furniture industry, consumer electronics and electronic appliances, lamps and lighting manufacturers. Mondaplen is a sought-after foam packaging material. The packaging material is used as inner protection in outer-packaging. Its wave structure is modelled on corrugated cardboard which enables Mondaplen to provide an excellent level of protection during transportation but with minimal material volume.

The light packaging material is made entirely of polyethylene foam which can be purchased as sheets or rolls in different designs and variants. There are many possible and varied applications of the patented packaging material: In particular, highly sensitive products such as electronic items or devices for medical technology and metrology equipment can be packed in a very secure manner. Lighting devices, furniture and household equipment of all types, wheel rims and other car parts can also be easily protected.
