As part of interpack 2011 the official award ceremony for the iF packaging awards 2011 took place. The awarded packaging of the project “Holistic packaging optimization” which the Hager Group in co-operation with THIMM Consulting conducted was exhibit at the special show.

In terms of criteria such as functionality, design, cost efficiency and sustainability, the new Hager packaging, which takes in account all aspects of the supply chain, easily persuaded the members of the international expert jury. "Packaging, which arise from the aspect of sustainability and resource conservation, dominate the market soon," so the jury of the iF packaging award 2011. Jean-Guy Dietrich (Hager Group) and Michael Bodemer (THIMM Consulting) could receive the iF packaging award yearbook at the special show.
