Germany-wide financial support program "go-effizient" offers consulting to small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs) that seek a profitable improvement in material efficiency. The material costs in SMEs are one of the largest cost pools and are in the manufacturing sector averaged 45%. The focus is on reducing material use through intelligent product and packaging design, optimized production processes and the exact analysis of the product life cycle to disposal.

The support is available in two levels:

» Level 1 is calculated at 50%: Support for potentials analyses (lasting at most 3 months) up to a maximum amount of 34,000 Euro.

» Level 2 ist calculated at 50%: additional consultation (lasting at most 9 months) for planning of details / monitoring during implementation up to a maximum amount of 160,000 Euro.

Total sum of max. 80,000 Euro.

The consultants at THIMM Consulting are authorized in 2007 by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie and offer eligible know-how for the optimization of material efficiency throughout the supply chain.
