We are pleased to inform you about our latest acquisition: a corrugated board factory from the Polish company Tectura Opakowania Papier (TOP), which is based in Tychy, Poland near the southern city of Katowice. The purchase is a joint venture between SAICA (S.A. Industrias Celulosa Aragonesa / Spain) and THIMM Verpackung. The acquisition will be completed once final approval has been secured from the Polish anti-monopoly office. We will own a 51 percent stake in the company; SAICA, our long-time partner within a European sales alliance, will hold the other 49 percent.
